Kenny202 Posted February 10, 2015 Posted February 10, 2015 Having trouble getting parsley and some other European herbs and want to grow myself...bring some in by post or by air with a friend. Just want a few little packets like the little commercial packets u buy at the supermarket. I'm up in the sticks. About 2 hours from Kohn Kaen if anyone knows if these wud be available there
HeijoshinCool Posted February 10, 2015 Posted February 10, 2015 Customs allows seed packets to pass through without question. I've done it many times. But don't put them in checked luggage; the X-rays are much stronger than carry-on. I used to ask for them to bypass carry-on X-ray, too, and there was never a problem.
WitawatWatawit Posted February 10, 2015 Posted February 10, 2015 I've had seeds sent out from the UK - marjoram, dill, etc - never a problem.
NickJ Posted February 10, 2015 Posted February 10, 2015 I was bringing in grass seed for my yard....and customs said i could not bring it in.......not sure about edible stuff. I would like to do that as well.
mikebell Posted February 11, 2015 Posted February 11, 2015 Never had any success with seeds bought in UK & planted here.
