smokes

Featured Replies

Im looking for a specific blend of smokes, Djarum blacks. I managed to find some in bangkok, but havent had any luck in chiang mai. Id appreciate responses that include any HELPFUL information. I understand that smoking is harmful, etc. Please only respond with tips/info. Thanks!

Isn't Djarum an Indonesian kretek [clove] cigarette?

They've been banned in some countries - I thought Thailand was one of them, but if you've bought them recently in Bangkok, then maybe not.

I would try the tobacco [and liquor] shop on Charoen Prathet near the Porn Ping Hotel. They might have them.

The cigarettes, smuggled into Thailand from Malaysia, are widely available and at Bt20 for four cigarettes, are easily affordable by youngsters, Assoc Prof Sriratch Larpyai, a Rangsit University lecturer, said.
