I am going to be flying to London with my fiancee for a holiday in April and its looking like its going to be more convenient and cheaper for us to fly from KL rather than head all the way up to BKK.

I just want to check that she is allowed to do this with her UK visit visa because the return flight will obviously be to Malaysia and not Thailand... Really don't want any nasty surprises at KLIA!

any advice would be much appreciated

Have done it a number of times without any problems, both connecting airside and, in the days of the LCCT, travelling down with AA, clearing Immigration in KL and catching a taxi to KLIA.

If you're booked through, they will check her UK visa in BKK, if not then at KLIA.

On one occasion we flew from KLIA to CDG, it was cheaper and more convenient and we had a few days in Paris before catching the Eurostar to Ashford as we were staying with friends nearby.
