Anyone know of any walk-in clinics that are able to irrigate syringe my ears ideally based in Samui

DM me the clinic address or website link if posting business info directly, falls outside of forum rules.

Many thanks

You could buy a rubber bulb ear syringe and do it yourself. That's safe to do. Put glycerin in your ears for a couple of days to dissolve the wax and flush it out.

I have to have my ears cleaned by an ENT periodically to get dead skin cells removed from my eardrums. A syringe won't loosen that.

Can't help you about a doctor, sorry.

Never, ever have your ears syringed. Always go to an ENT specialist with the right equipment. I had mine syringed when I was young by the local GP and he did not realise there was a hole in my ear drum. This has resulted in years of ear problems and three operations. Go to Dr Ning in Lamai - about 2-300 m south of the Lamai Wat on the ring road. She is an ENT specialist and having been to many over the years, she is as good as they get. Some people say she is expensive - Baht 1,000 for what you want I would think - but I would rather pay extra for someone who knows what they are doing. PM me if you want her mobile number.

Last year I needed my ear 'de-waxed'.

I went to Bangkok Samui and the ENT guy there sorted it out no problem. Ear and wallet both cleared.

Two trips and not cheap. I would probably try the new clinic above next time.

I had mine done in the clinic opposite petcherat marina a few years ago, but Samuires in post 4 has pretty much nailed it for the OP.

its rare for syringes to be used these days as they can cause damage to the inner ear. they have a machine that does the job more gently, lovely sensation and when you get 100% hearing back, amazing.

make sure you loosen with oil for a few days beforehand.

I sincerely hope that is true because the damage that one syringe treatment did to me has been horrendous. I have no experience of the new medical centre and would not wish in any way to cast doubt, but their web site does not show anyone there with ENT expertise. If anyone has additional information on that, that would be useful.
