Wheelchair accessible restaurants?

Featured Replies

A friend is coming to visit. Can anyone recommend wheelchair accessible restaurants in the city? Air-con a plus during these months.

MIX Soi One, Nimman

Xanadu - top deck of Furama FX

Bar 22, Soi 6

Maldives, Soi 6, Nimman

Nongfluke 1 & 2 on Canal Road

Riverside 2

Sisters, Chankhlan Road

Apologies - cancel Maldives, I had it in mind they had ramp access, just looked, they don't.

River Market, but alas it doesn't have aircon.

The newer malls should be pretty good for wheelchair access. There are some good restaurants at Promenada.

It would depend on what part of town you are in.

The airport Mall is fully wheelchair assessable through the Tops entrance off the Parking lot.

Also would it be OK if all they had to do was get over the curb to the walk way. Not likely to find one assessable if they have to use to much of the walk way.

While the restaurant may be wheelchair accessible with a little ramp at the entrance, there is still the part of actually getting to the door. That seems a bigger challenge than just the final hop through the door.

So I wouldn't worry about specific restaurants; people usually manage in Thailand, and that includes people in wheelchairs.
