Without bothering to look up your quotes, I would venture to guess that quite a few of them refer to Trump and MAGA as being rather brilliant, which is quite comical. Carney is smart. He has already outwitted Trump several times in six short months. Canada is replacing the US with multiple trade partners, they're finding buyers for their oil, their superb lumber, their steel and many of their other commodities and ignoring the US, and shunning the US like a clever nation should. -

Almost every major highway in Thailand allows u-turns and some of them are in totally unprotected lanes. We're talking about a four-lane divided highway, the main artery going north and south in Thailand. if I can't do 120 on a highway like that what's the point of even driving? Agree... and almost every other vehicle on the roads on those major highways are travelling at those speeds.... The U-turns themselves are lethal and IMO - its criminally negligent to have such - U-Turns on fast highways - of course, to make such 'U-Turn options' safer, cost comes into it and people will argue Thailand does not have such a budget to make U-Turn Bridges on major roads nationwide, whereas I'd argue that money has been pocketed. -

Everything was running like clockwork in the great geopolitical circus. Gaza was sealed off just enough to keep the chaos contained and the international community politely distracted. The average American was busy arguing about gas prices, blissfully unaware that trillions of their tax dollars had been turned into sand and smoke somewhere between Fallujah and Kabul, all in the name of regional “stability.” Meanwhile, Israel kept a firm grip on things, democracy-style, with high-tech fences, Iron Domes, and a diplomatic shield forged in the halls of Washington. But then, as always happens in long-running occupations, the people being occupied had the audacity to want a state- borders, dignity, maybe even a passport that gets them farther than a checkpoint. And worse, they started telling the world what’s been happening behind the walls and embargoes all these years. Suddenly, the carefully managed narrative, freedom vs. terror, good guys vs. rockets, started to wobble. Cameras rolled. Voices rose. The myth of the benevolent occupier cracked. Now, the Status Quo is under threat. And for some, that’s the real tragedy. -
