Hi,

I have a true cable internet line. Unfortunately my cable modem has not many features and the biggest disadvantage is that I can't forward the public IP to a router behind the modem. So I can't do the whole routing with my nice ASUS high performance router. At the moment I just use my ASUS just as a wifi access point.

I heard that some customers get a Cisco Cable modem from True Online instead of the crappy Thomson modem which I have. Is it possible to change the modem? Someone did that already? Will True Corp change it just on request or do you have to pay extra?
