Hi, I'm planning on flying to Penang to do a visa run soon, but want to take the train back. I've heard that the countryside on the way back is pretty breathtaking (and also I'm trying to save costs a little bit). If I fly down with Air Asia on a one way ticket, am I likely to face any problems about the lack of onward ticket. I spoke with a friend who used to live in KL and he seems to think that it shouldn't be a problem, he did a similar thing at least four times when he was living there. I just wanted to get another opinion about this though. Anyone had any similar experiences? Thanks. :o

Thanks for the quick reply. Just another question raised by my girlfriend. Is there likely to be any problem from Air Asia for me to buy a one way ticket? I know airlines can be funny about having no onward destination. Their website does advertise one-way tickets though.
