Has TVF changed?

I am a member for a few years now nothing in comparison with our long timers but I feel things have changed.sure the fellows in the news section still moaning and complaining about our host country and the usual topics get repeated again and again...

But what happened if somebody really needs some advise or even help?the support gets less or he get called a looser or " need to get a life"( my favourite expression)...

The funny topics get locked ( I know there are always just the usual suspects on their playground)or some of our resident trolls try it over and over again...

Don't get me wrong I wouldn't like to change with one of the Mods for a second especially in this difficult political times....

What do you think what is the future of our forum/ community ???

The future will be the same as the present or the past.

Posters come and go, others leaving some mark on TVF, others passing unnoticed.

New blood is coming in everyday giving us a variety of reading.

Some good, some not, some repeating old posts.

Nothing wrong with that as long as you don't take it too serious.

Enjoy being on TVF as much as I do.

I registered 5 years ago and followed TVF for 2-3 months until business called. Been back on TVF early this year. It actually has changed. The good: stricter Mods weeding out trolls, some added features like media input, the like button, etc.. The bad: Ads, ads, ads everywhere, and I feel there are more grumpy old posters and fewer entertaining posters.

Not really Kurt, I'm happy to hear you are doing well. Must have been a terrifying exprience being left alone by a sandpit in your wheelchair, with no way to get out. Hope you had a few choices of flavours for yor ice cream

Wow 19,000 plus posts. I have not even reached a 1,000 yet. Is that the Wizard level? Some of the posts are hard to read even the spelling is bad. That is to bad because they may have been interesting if one could make head or tale out of them. I better start pounding the keys and maybe I can reach the 19,000 level before my best before date pops up.

Yawn, you'll need to do better than that Gordo.
