Let's play a game, you PM me the best budget hotel you've found in Bangkok for 600 baht or less,

and I'll PM you mine.

Please only if it meets the following conditions:

- Private room with private bathroom, aircon and must have window

- Must be walking distance to either BTS or MRT

- 600 baht or less per night

Area not far from Mo Chit would be the best as I travel often from Don Muang, but I'm interested

in anything that meets the above.

Suk 11 is a winner for the slightly higher price of 650 baht for the ensuite. The staff are rather surly but considering the location, it matters not as you only need to speak to them to check in and out.

quiet, fan room, no bargirls, on suk near bts/mrt, classy place, historical landmark.

its 690 i believe plus tax. if you worried about the extra $3 a night in a hotel going home is sound advice.

I have a life. That's why I don't need to pay 600 baht for a hotel. I don't know much about Thailand. I've only been living here for 7 years, which is nothing compared to some guys who've been here for 30. I'm not criticizing at random. Well, congratulations to you. Enjoy your luxury lifestyle in your 600 baht hotel that has (gasp!) both a window and a bathroom that isn't shared with 10 other people. Admit it, you're an English teacher - one of those without any formal qualifications.

I'm not poor, if I was poor I would be sleeping at the dorms. I've been living in Asia for three years and did not spend a minute

working. Certainly not dealing drugs in Pattaya.

I found several during my first years in Bangkok , 400 baht and up. But I never remember the names so not much help.

If you decide to visit Pattaya I can name quite a few in that price range,
