TEXT ONLY plans

Featured Replies

when I'm in Philippines for about 200baht l can get a 30 day plan that gives unlimited text to all networks plus some internet & calls,

tried asking if a similar deal is available from providers in Thailand but without success, mostly coz lost in translation,

does anyone know of a similar deal can be had in Thailand?

any network is OK.

I guess by text you mean short message service (SMS).

I'm using DTAC who offer 50 free SMS's /day for 7THB/day - but I have no use for SMS myself.

Most people these days in Thailand use social media chat applications rather than SMS. DTAC offers unlimited chat on these apps for 7THB/day. I expect the other services (AIS and True) offer similar?

yes l mean SMS

I have spent a while here looking as bored as Bak Holiday in Uk.........Nothing that I can see

Most people use "Line" in Thailand these days anyway

Yes LINE is fine if u have internet in your cell,

but l don't as l have it free in my room.

Not sure if your trolling or being awkward. Every phone SIM plan comes with Internet these days from as little as 7THB / day upwards with unlimited LINE apps or similar. On the road use cell and can use the free thing (probably a wifi signal?) you have in your room also. On the whole the infrastructure in Thailand is more advanced than what I saw in Philippines.
