Do the same, what??? get beaten up again hahahahahahah. I know if he and 2 mates were drunk, they would attack 1 guy in a second, live by the sword, and die by the sword

lol.... the pic of those 2 Charlies just about sums up my mind's image of the Pattaya farang..... no offence meant to the decent guys down there.

Hey

this could be Bangkok, south Thailand, Blackpool anywhere.Nothing wrong with a nice nite out in Pattaya, if one can behave oneself

After reading the last few posts from Thai visa, it looks to have been a pretty grim few days in Pattaya !

Interesting he came into the store begging for help they came in and dragged him out. Not a cop in sight. Welcome to Pattaya!

Another farang who thinks hes 10 foot tall and bulletproof.

If he had have kept is mouth shut and smiled like most of us, i am pretty sure he could have staggered home.

Full marks for at least wearing a shirt.

You were there and saw the entire thing no doubt.w00t.gif

Your are right i did jump to conclusions, there is always two sides two an argument an no excuse for 3 Thais to beat him up.

Well done! kwassuie, it takes a big man, to admit when they made a mistake.

I know many think this is paradise but sure sounds like hell now. What has been added to the water or is there something in the air. It is hard to fathom why so much anger abounds and is being expressed on a daily basis. And it is not restricted to any one nationality.

More mob violence by a group of Thais.whistling.gif

Another drunken idiot getting what he deserves.

Drunks can be offensive, passive, a nuisance or source of amusement. Whichever they are, they don't deserve to be criminally assaulted by 3 thugs.

People also behave differently when on holiday and somehow have the impression all locals will tolerate any behavior they indulge in as they're "on holiday". They won't of course but again, not an excuse for criminal assault by a gang on one person.

True, but how do u know the guy was to blame just coz he was intoxicated. He was attacked by a group of cowardly Thai guys who go around looking for trouble a lot of the time.

just before 3.30am on Saturday

= for sure a quality tourist whistling.gif

How do you equate 3:30am with the jibe "quality tourist"?

Go to another country and get drunk and stupid!!!! I am sure it is all the fault of the farang!!!! they cause all this headache.....and they get a big headache in return....

probably acted all tough and cool, disrespected thais and maybe even tried to flirt with 7-11 girl.....this will not end well!!!

he is not helping us smile in land of smiles......back to UK to work in gravel pit!!!!

Why do so many of you losers sit on this forum all day and talk out of your ass? You read a story and then invent the facts to suit your replies!

GRAVEL PIT? Thats generally a good paying job you dick!

It may be a good payng job, if he has a skill, but it does not mean he has any brains.

Yes always the farang's fault. He wasn't smiling enough so the wonderful hospitable Thais beat him senseless. Lucky he was wearing a shirt, they would have been justified in killing him had he been shirtless.

Is there something wrong with trying to flirt with a 7-11 girl....is that not how men and women throughout the ages first meet and eventually marry, by a little flirting with each other first.

So he deserves the 3-1 odds against him? If he was drunk, and causing trouble, it should be easy for someone to sort him out by themselves,

and not asking his mates for help, but that's not the way it's done in Thailand, is it?

There is no perfect country in the world for anyone to feel safe at night or day

coffee1.gif

99.9% of the time, it is safe to walk about as long as you are sober, do not cause any trouble and mind your own business.

This would especially apply to Thailand.

It's truly amazing how many on this forum condone this violent behavior against anyone. Drunk or not, tourist or not, Thailand or not it simply does not matter. The fact that many of you are blaming the victim you are condoning the violence against another person.

The fact that this is NOT an isolated incident says a great deal about how unsafe it is. Maybe the PM can concentrate some quality time on cleaning this type of behavior to allow the tourists to feel safe to return to Thailand.

It's complete nonsense to say Thailand is "unsafe". No one is condoning violence whether it comes from locals or tourists, although some only choose to focus on one. Thailand is a lot safer than most English provincial towns and cities in the small hours of the morning on a Saturday!

Brewster...you condone violence by not speaking against it. By not placing the blame directly on the person or persons that beat this man.

Your choice blame the victim and condone the violence or be part of the solution and speak out against violence.
