April 7, 201510 yr Hi All, just a quick one. Am applying for a visit visa to the UK for my Thai husband. I leave the country in 2 days and my bank statements still haven't arrived. So if they don't arrive, will print outs I got from my bank be sufficient? I have those plus a mini statement and some old bank statements so they can verify my details. Will that be ok or will they insist on proper statements? I have included my payslips/employers letter etc as well in the financial info. Thanks and sorry if been asked before.
April 7, 201510 yr I applied for and was granted a family visit visa 2 weeks ago and I used internet print outs of my savings account which where accepted without any problems. I hope that it helps
April 7, 201510 yr I also used Internet print outs of my current account last year, they were accepted.
April 7, 201510 yr Author Ok thank you, I'll do some of my own printouts too. I prefer to err on the side of giving them more than they need.
April 8, 201510 yr Officially printouts are only accepted if they are certified as correct by the bank. But as the experiences of the posters above show, in practice this is not often enforced for visit applications.
April 8, 201510 yr I submitted printouts with the official Bank logo on them for settlement visas with no problem. I wonder if that is the case with the other accepted printouts? I would be surprised if they accepted printouts without the bank logo on them but I could be wrong. I certainly wouldn't risk it anyway.
April 8, 201510 yr Author The bank did the print outs for me they are black and white but have the logo all my account info and transactions for the last 6 months.
April 8, 201510 yr Yes I think having the logo with all the account details makes it ok but just a non headed printout probably isn't.
