Visit visa to the uk at the VFS office yesterday

The wife just put in her application and stuff yesterday

But we're not received and e mail saying it has been sent out of the office

i remember last year we got an e mail the same night saying:

Your Visa application - gwf0000000 , has been dispatched to the UKVI Decision Making Centre, Bangkok.

Not this time though, have they stopped sending out the e mails now?

They still put those messages out - or at least they did for my daughter's UK visa last week. They should not be closing for Songkran until Friday pm

Same here and we did get the visa so I don't think it is anything to worry about. VFS are pretty well organised these days.

Did you get the visa though?

Yes the visa was issued and we had the passport back within 5 days but I guess you will have the songkran break now.

Yesterday got the email saying they have made a decision on the application.

So it was put in on Tuesday at midday, and 2pm yesterday they had made the decision, hoping they made the right decision, guess we'll find out after Songkran.
