Laser Tooth Whitening

Featured Replies

There are a couple of places here in Pattaya offering Laser Tooth Whitening :o - The Beauty House and The Dental Cafe - and there are one or two in BKK too. Has anyone had any experiencde of these. Like: Does it work? What's the cost? What do they do exactly?

I'm thinking of trying it out myself (I tend to throw up when I get a regular cleaning), but would like to know more.

Thanks in advance.

Bangkok Phuket hospital does it for 13,000, it takes an hour to do and seems to work really well.

I also found out about peroxide whitening, this is only 5,000 takes 2 hours and lasts about 6 months,

Heavy coffee drinkers be warned, your teeth go yellow again pretty quick

the Bangkok-Pattaya hospital did a demo at an expats meeting a few months ago. They used a young lady as a model and only did the top portion of her teeth to give a comparison of the before and after. It took about an hour from memory and the result was pretty good. the dr doing the treatment said that if you wre not happy with the result, ie you wanted whiter, then just doing it again will gain get a better result and the cost is the same. They just keep going until you are happy with the "whiteness"

The was a time limit on how long it lasted and it was very dependent on your lifestyle. They also do a free check. Apparently if you have had some type of enamel treatment already on your teeth the laser treatment doesn;t work at all and is a waste of time and money.

If you are seriuos about it I would give them a call and talk to the doctor. She speaks really good english and can explain it all and outline the cost.
