I want to buy a laptop to use as a digital audio workstation (DAW), either in Bkk or in Canada. I'm guessing Canada would be cheaper? I use a desktop but will be going to Canada for 2 months, I have all my sample sounds on external hard drives, and primarily use Cubase 5.1. Needs a firewire port (or converter?) for my external soundcard. Using windows 7, 64bit. Preferably under 30k Baht.
