Welder found dead in toilet close to new East Pattaya Market



PATTAYA: -- The body of a welder was found in a toilet located behind the construction of a new Market in East Pattaya on Saturday Night.

Police and medics were called to Soi K9 in the Huay Yai area and to an accommodation block for workers who are currently constructing a new Market in Huay Yai.

The body of Khun Sompop aged 35 was discovered in a rarely-used ground floor toilet in the 3-storey accommodation block, by a co-worker named as Khun Pairort. He became concerned on Friday that he had not seen his colleague and despite a search, he could not be found.

On Saturday Khun Pairort saw that the door to the toilet was locked from the inside which caused him concern. When he forced open the door he discovered the body of Khun Sompop who was slumped over the toilet and appeared to have blood around his nose.
