Bringing my Thai girlfriend to NZ

Featured Replies

Hey guys,

I'm living here in Bangkok with my Thai girlfriend and later this year we plan on applying for a Partnership based temporary work visa for her to come and live in NZ.

We are struggling to find ways to prove that we are living together...... Our tenancy agreement only has her name on it, as well as bills such as electricity and water, we can't change this as the apartments we live in only accept 1 person on the agreement and the person on the agreement must be the person on the bills... Although in saying this they will write a letter to confirm that we both live here etc.....
Now i know we both need to receive some form of mail to our address as evidence that we live here, but as you are probably aware NOBODY sends mail in Thailand. We have signed up for numerous cards such as Tesco card, M card, 7 eleven card..... But these will only send very, very limited mail...
Does anyone have any advice on what we can do to prove that we both live here?

Thanks in advance.
