First edition of govt tabloid paper being distributed
The Nation

BANGKOK: -- The first issue of the government's tabloid newsletter was published yesterday. A total of 60,000 copies of the "Government Newsletter for the People" will be distributed across the country.

Copies of the bulletin were given to the media at Government House yesterday by staff of the PM's Office with a request that media representatives help to publish government news, so people know about the performance of the military regime.

Its front page runs an article "From PM's Heart", which Prime Minister General Prayut Chan-o-cha wrote. It says that although he has to face huge pressure, he would like to say from his heart that as soon as he decided to take over responsibility for the country as prime minister he was determined to see peace and prosperity continue - on the path of virtue and justice.

Prayut said he would like to see love and unity among Thais.

"I pledge that I will do my duty the best, with honesty, and the heart of a soldier, who is ready to share sufferings and happiness with all people," he wrote.

It will be a collectors item someday so hang onto it.

"...govt tabloid paper..."

Are you kidding me!!! There is a lot coming out of this government that is so reminiscent of another world power about 75 years ago.

They will be distributing 'The Nation' for free???

This is like a rapist who forces their way into a home , and whilst transgressing and violating the female occupant ( Nation)

Declares its from the heart and he wants to protect her from what he perceives as a bad marriage ( voting choices)

It's not just outrageous but it leaves even the most stupidest of on lookers ( maybe 60,000 country wide) wondering how the Nation left open such doors to this act.?

Next he will introduce his hooded friend ( China) and insist he always is just relieving the suffering and to stay peacefully quiet while that further violation occurs.
