Telephone call to the Philippines

Featured Replies

Hello everyone.

A friend is visiting his girlfriend in the Philippines. I called him yesterday, a few minutes costed me 250 baht with 1-2-call

Does someone know how I can call him a little cheaper ?

Many thanks for any information.

Have a nice day.

just be wary if in case your friend ever wants to cals you, and tries to Call Collect Reverse Charges.

I'm not saying to be wary of him, but the filo operator will Connect immediately they here your falang voice.

They do not await your 'acceptance' to take the call.

What I did, was to Record an OGM, with just two words - "A n s w e r i n g M a c h i n e"

Upon hearing this the operator is stumped, and does not continue ( but I did hear her conversation with the caller - " I'm sorry ma'am, it, its an answering machine..."

I then can call them back at my leisure, and save a lot on costs
