Need someone to confirm I have a proper understanding of the protocol here. If a western person commits suicide, we need to show empathy, compassion, and try to understand how society failed them. If a Thai commits suicide, then we must disparage, ridicule, and just generally abuse them? Is that an accurate summary of how each human life is valued?

So sad, a daughter growing up without her mother, 2 families losing a relative. Suicide is always a tragedy wherever it happens in the world.
