Quick question. What legal rights do I have as a father of a U.S. Citizen born abroad once he reaches the U.S?

Once he is here does he ever have to go back to Thailand if I don't want him to?

Ultimately that would be for a judge to decide.

If you take the child against the will of the mother you could be charged with kidnapping.

I'm not going to take my child from Thailand. The mother will let him come with me. My question is... What are my rights once the child is here. He's a U.S. citizen. Does he have to go back to Thailand?

Per above, it could still be parental kidnapping if you hold the child here against the will of the mother wheter she gave permisison to take the child on holiday or not. Many parental kidnapping cases start that way and they don't make it any less serious.

Your child will be very lucky

In my lifetime I brought 14 of my children to American

They all got rent aid free medical free food and much more items free

I even got money to watch them

America knows how to pay you have to figure out to collect

All went to college free and now are very rich.

11 Children even figured out how to get free houses

Get him back to America and start hitting the Jackpot

Think about what the child wants, why keep a child in a strange country against his will without his family and friends.

I'm simply asking what my rights are. My son is a toddler. He will not be held against his will.

What are my rights as U.S. Citizen with a U.S. Citizen child born abroad.

All ethical comments aside, please.

As said, that depends on the mother and ultimately a judge, so the issue is relevant.

If the mother agrees (or you have sole custody), there is no reason why the child should ever have to leave the US. He is a US-citizen afterall.

Pawheel, your child cannot consent.

In theory you could face kidnapping or custodial interference charges.
