Been trawling through various brochures trying to work out which would be the best data plan for me. Not a heavy user, just would like to be online to check e-mails and maybe do some light surfing the web. I currently use a pay as you go TRUE tourist sim which allows me cheap calls overseas for about 1 to 3 baht a minute.

Could anyone recommend a suitable data plan that might fit my requirements ?

From my understanding, when they state 'unlimited', generally it's 750MB. if my AIS 69฿ with similar verbiage is anything to go by.

You're right, most all of the other "Unlimited" offers have an associated Data Cap so the word "unlimited" then is only really associated with the speed of the connection.

This particular TrueMove-H Promotion (on the 7-Eleven pegboard or direct USSD dial code) is one of the very few exceptions left when wanting an "unlimited" data offer.

About other 7-Eleven True-Move offers

AIS previously had a similar "unlimited" data promotion of 512kbps or 384kbps fixed speed rates but recently converted them to included a new Data Cap and additional Fair-use-Policy of 64kbps fixed speed for the remainder of the promotion time (after exceeding the Data Cap). So the word "Unlimited" associated with these AIS fixed-speed promotions is reduced to meaning "always on".
