Hi all, I heard a vicious rumour that a few people on tv know a thing or two about internetting in los so here goes, I used to have a DTAC aircard but it expired a while back and I found it to be a little expensive for what it was, so what's the best option these days for internetting at home? I'd prefer some sort of aircard option but I don't know what's best. I use the net a lot and like to stream stuff so speed is important.

Any particular reason or restriction for your Internet to be delivered over an AirCard?

I think most members would agree that a dedicated line from an ISP (adsl, cable broadband or fiber) would be preferred, with a lower fixed monthly cost, unlimited download, unblocked ports. But personal preferences or restrictions may eliminate a fixed line from your options. Also, AIS AirNet and TOT WiNet offer Internet delivered via Point-to-Point radio with lower monthly cost and unlimited download compared to Mobile 3G/LTE Internet (but it's not available in all areas).

If you are constantly on the move then Mobile 3G/LTE Internet might be your only viable option.

I'd ask that you please provide a bit more information about your current situation so we can offer suggestions tailored to your specific needs.

Where are you located?

Guest house, condo, what?

How long will you be staying in one place?

(If staying in one place less than a year then 3G/LTE may be your only option)

How much Data do you use per/mo?

What Speed do you need?

What speed were you recently getting?

Are there any WiFi Hotspot services available nearby?
Is the WiFi Hotspot signal strong?

Just the one computer, or do you have other devices (or will have in the future)?

Ever thought of Tethering from a SmartPhone?

Do you have a budget or amount in mind for spending on Internet (initial equipment outlay, ongoing cost)?
