Developing mobile apps

Hi

I've googled around but cannot find a solution.

Does anyone know where I can learn to develop mobile apps?

There are many online sites that allow you to create a 'flat' app (basically just clicking links) but I'd like to be able to create something a wee bit more complicated.

I see PhoneGap appears to provide a solution (but I need a bit of hand holding to get it going).

So, does anyone know where, in Bangkok, I can get some instruction?

(my background is in IT - programmer for almost 30 years - so I'm obviously a bit long in the tooth and I'm interested in getting a bit more up to date).

You don't say for which Eco system, but there's a ton of stuff online. Here's a good starting point for Android:

It seems you want to hit the ground running. Why not begin with a "Flat" app and get some of the basic skills and lingo?
