Laptop or tablet?

Featured Replies

I have every sort of device you can imagine.

Android box, android phone (x3), android tablet (x2), windows 7 tower PC, Windows 8 laptop, Windows 7 laptop.

You just can't beat the Windows Tower, plenty of room to add extras, USBs all over, it's all I ever watch movies and Tv on, lappy would be 2nd choice.

Pretty much all I use for my home PC too, connected to a 52" Tv ...... posting on it now.

Forget the gadgets, they are all unsatisfactory in one way or another.

Yes, agree with you somehow. But all depend on your situation. In my case, I sleep 5 night per week in hotels, take a least 4 flights per week, working on the move, in airport transit, watching movies on the planes or hotels. Basically, I spend only the week end at home and holidays. Then I am always looking at the best portable devices (or gadgets as you call it).

If my situation were different, and I could stay at home everyday, I would definitely go for your solution with Windows Tower. I am also a gamer (PC, playstation...). My son who is also a gamer, has his nice Windows Towers connected to a nice screen and large TV to enjoy his games and I envy him. I have a playstation 4 at home connected to a 4K 65"TV but unfortunately don't have much time to enjoy it.

Yes, but the Asus transformer is almost three years now.

Almost all current devices unfortunately don't have a full-size USB port.

But if you want USB you can get it.

This sexy little beast has two USB 3.0's.

And it works as an Android tablet, a Windows tablet (upgradeable to Win 10) and a laptop.
