Nice bit of info from Bangkok "Boo-tic" Airways with maps and directions :D

Transportation between Donmuang and Suvarnabhumi International Airport.

There is a bus service operating between Donmuang and Suvarnabhumi, and it will keep servicing this route even though there is no scheduled commercial flight landing/taking off at Donmuang after 28 Sep 2006.

During our one-week business on 21-27 Sep 2006, there will be shuttle buses provided by AOT for transferring passengers between two airports.

Transportation Suvarnabhumi Airport is already served by public buses.

Public Bus Service to Bangkok and area

Bus Number 549 - Suvarnabhumi Airport - Minburi

Bus Number 550 - Suvarnabhumi Airport - Happy Land ...wheres "appy land?...Soi Cowboy-Pats Place...? :D

Bus Number 551 - Suvarnabhumi Airport - Victory Monument (Expressway)

Bus Number 552 - Suvarnabhumi Airport - On Nut BTS station

Bus Number 553 - Suvarnabhumi Airport - Samut Prakan

Bus Number 554 - Suvarnabhumi Airport - Don Muang Airport (Expressway)

Public Bus Service to other provinces

Bus Number 389 - Suvarnabhumi Airport - Pattaya

Bus Number 390 - Suvarnabhumi Airport - Talad Rong Kluea

Bus Number 825 - Suvarnabhumi Airport - NongKhai

The only shortcoming is that these buses arrive/depart from the bus terminal which passengers need to take another airport shuttle bus to the main terminal.

Taxis are allowed to drop off passengers at the main terminal.

However, arriving passengers at Suvarnabhumi will have to take the airport shuttle bus to the public transportation center to catch taxi to city centre.

Only airport limousines and airport express buses are permitted to service passengers from/to the main terminal. :o
