June 5, 201511 yr Anyone else having problems? I sometimes get a page that "checks my browser" and then gives me a cached PG page.
June 5, 201511 yr Yes, looks like they have changed their server routine and are having major problems with that.
June 5, 201511 yr Author Thanks. Was having problems with my browser (Thaivisa), so uninstalled and then reloaded. Problem fixed, but, PG still the same.
June 5, 201511 yr Author Whoever runs PG online is bloody useless. Seems to always have problems..... Mind you.......it's almost a worthless read now-a-days. Read some article on how to increase the chances of selling a property that has been on the market for a while. The solution, according to the author, was to buy colourful throw cushions and put them in the living room. My letter stating that reducing the price might be more effective, wasn't published. You see KB, you just don't know the market. Throw cushions are all the rage .

June 5, 201511 yr I already advised PG to 'drop' using Cloudfare, before they had no online visitors left...
June 5, 201511 yr It has been down since the 25th according to CloudFlare as that's the latest cached version they have. I doubt the problem is because of CloudFlare. So yes, whoever is responsible for the website is doing a pretty poor job. I agree also that PhuketGazette is a pretty pointless read nowerdays and I don't miss it. Only stories about accidents, police catching small time criminals and articles about real estate that defy any sense for logic and border in my oponion on evil. I just don't see the value that a reader gets out of it.
June 5, 201511 yr I heard they keep getting hacked and that's the reason. Been going on for years. Now they do browser checks in case of flooding that will crash the site. They are useless.
June 8, 201511 yr Author Still down. Two weeks now. Does PG have the most incompetent web-master, or what? Really. Would you advertise with them?
June 30, 201511 yr Author They really are worse than useless. PG on line is showing news from end of May. Edited June 30, 201511 yr by KarenBravo
