Outbound Last Week Of Sept: Don Muang Or Suvarnabhumi

Featured Replies

Hello all,

Not two weeks ago, I was of the mind it would be smart to avoid any travel, out of either airport, for at least one week prior to and another week after the 28 Sept. 3PM witching hour.

But since then, fate has intervened and offered me a career move too outstanding to pass by. Thus, I must be present in a new office overseas by 2 Oct.

Considering how well Thai authorities concieved of and then failed in their implementation of the O-net and A-net test debacle, my travel safety is all I am considering at the moment.

I cannot decide if it would be more safe to fly out of the old [pre-28th], or out of the new [post-28th]. I have a small window of opportunity here to do either. Which would be safer? :o

Could we posit on the merits of such a choice? I would be most grateful for the collective insights of the forum.

Kob khun khrap :D

leave before 28.09 - there might be some cancellations after 28.09 and problems in the new airport

pick a flight that works for you ... ask your TA to check how many available seats <don't fly on a plane that is not pretty full> and allow for some delays at either place
