Kazakhstan victim of bag snatch at 'Pattaya Viewpoint'

PATTAYA: -- A 29 year old female tourist from Kazakhstan became the latest victim of a street robbery on Saturday at the highest point in Pattaya, on the Pratamnuk Mountain.

Mrs Yanina Navruzova was visiting the Pattaya Viewpoint as thousands have done before her but was confronted by 3 men on a motorbike who stole her handbag which contained a Samsung Smart Phone and 3,160 Baht in cash.

Thankfully Mrs Navruzova was uninjured but was shaken by the incident which saw the arrest of the three suspects less than 2 hours after the robbery took place, after they were located at the Bali Hai Port, at the base of the mountain area. A fourth man was also arrested in connection with the case and charged with receiving stolen goods.

Another mastermind criminal plot foiled by the long arm of plod.

I think the judiciary should hand out double helpings of porridge for every crime committed in Pattaya. If only to give that poor minority of innocent people and sex tourists a break.

Where's the pointing pics?

...if they do not get at least 2 years....what is the point....

...these are violent crimes that have led to several deaths.....

Again only 1/2 a report.

How were the Police able to catch the culprits 2 hours later ?

How did they catch the 4th man ?

What is the point of 1/2 a report ?

And well done the Police clap2.gif

the only way to deter is to have comprehensive modern and widespread CCTV, and/or truly formidable even draconian punishment

such as minimum 10yrs in jail and absolute life in prison for repeated offences, although yabba nuts wont be deterred by anything

such sentences may deter those potential robbers who still think relatively rationally

She is pointing, somewhat haphazardly it's true, but still pointing.

The gun on the table scares me. The victim is nice looking. Glad the police cleared this up so quickly.

She needs lessons - hide the thumb away when pointing.

Anyway, she will do better next time.......

Looks like they stole her 9mm hand gun too.
