Featured Replies

A cyclist was killed at about 7am this morning when hit by a car in Haad Yai today, June 28.

The accident took place near Wing Division 56, on the road to the airport in Khuan Lung subdistrict,

The victim was identified as Chatichai Jongraksad, aged 'about 60'.

He lived on Kanchanawanich Road in Ban Pru subdistrict.

He was hit by a Toyota Vios with Bangkok plates.

There was no mention of the name of the car owner or if he would be prosecuted.

The victim of the deceased was taken to Haad Yai Hospital by rescue workers.

The broken bicycle (see image) indicates the high speed of the collision, which resulted in the victim's death at the scene.
