I know that google is not going to let any app on the Play store that is made to download You tube but is there one on Amazon or ????

I would like to download music video playlist off Youtube and then also later strip out the video part to use on my MP3 player, so I will have both

Also record streaming music....

if I do it on my Android tablet that would be nice over WiFi at home , or I could also do it on my Laptop

For download on YouTube Google for youtube download apk andere you will find "tube mate youtube Downloader " pleas do it from a verified site and check for virus

There are also websites that will convert YouTube video to MP3 (audio) or MP4 (Video).

Just give it the YouTube video url and it will provide you a download link.
