Hillary's record on lies is way worse than Trumps - probably worse than anybody running. She illegally deleted her memos (emails) after two years of stiff-arming congressional committees who were looking for the very information contained in those memos.

The thread is about Trump and the GOP field. Check out the title of the thread plse thx. Trump, the GOP field, Hispanics, immigration; also Mexico.

The GOP machine was already churning out stuff on Hillary even before she declared she was running. And it's largely chicken-s-t sort of crappola. I'm not even a fan of Hillary, but it's just the same political crap coming out of that party year after year. I'm happy the GOP is dying a slow death.

Immigration law is civil law and not criminal law.

Immigrants enter the USA under the code of civil laws; immigrants as immigrants are not controlled by criminal law per se.

Immigrants to the USA always have come under the civil laws of the United States. Immigrants as immigrants are not subjected to criminal laws solely because they are immigrants.

Immigration comes under the civil laws, not the criminal code.

The extreme right sector of American society would have us believe immigrants are under the criminal laws when immigrants are not. Immigration and immigrants are under the civil laws, not the criminal laws.

The 2016 election in November is going to be a heart attack.

Massive.

Those concerned can take comfort in the fact the GOP had a pretty good run from its first candidate Abraham Lincoln to Ike with Reagan providing the high point of its modern time.

RIP GOP.

But if illegals are in the country, how do they survive? They must get money, which means:

a. They are working without authorization, without paying taxes, without a social security number or using stolen identities, all of which are . . . illegal.

b. They are taking welfare payments under the guise of American citizenship or through falsely portraying their immigration status, which is . . . illegal.

Asserting "illegals" are illegals is accurate, by definition. Notwithstanding the fact that immigration law is civil. It is not possible in the subject matter we are discussing to be wrong but it is possible to be deceived. A previous assertion that immigration law is civil alone is both correct, and grossly misleading. Why? Because illegals- which they are- are not illegals because they are unlawfully present (Unlawful Presence) in the US, they are illegals because of improperly entering (Improper Entry) the US- a violation of US Federal law criminal, a misdemeanor, but criminal= illegals! When one reads any post that uses words such as "extreme[ist]" one should consider carefully what is being said. 1/2 truths necessarily are not true.

Its always language and meaning; language is always the second victim of liberalism. There is always a good faith effort to inflict liberal will first but when the subject (audience) is not receptive, language and meaning always become the secondary targets in political systems under siege. In these various threads we can witness the liberal mind's default refuge of denying facts by opposing meaning. Into this mix the prime hope is smoke and mirrors; confuse the issues so the target audience is unaware where truth lie. Couple this obfuscation with subsequent demonization and ridicule of an opposing position and the entire liberal playbook is exposed. There will always be an adjunct vilification or ridicule by liberals upon those who point out the bankruptcy of their views regarding their tactics, such as changing word meaning. When one reads any liberal response that also includes closing commentary of a personal or ridiculing nature on an opposing view, watch your wallet, you are about to be intellectually robbed. This is how a liberal mind will work every time. It is not simply mechanics, this is a wholly morally vacant place to be. This is not simply a different manner of achieving political ends or gaslighting it is an inherent Machiavellian quality; always inferior reasoning.

<<snip>>

To refer to any person in the USA at any time for any reason as singularly an "illegal" and to pluralize it to singularly reference "illegals" denies SCOTUS and the Constitution, which mandate that each and every person present in the United States is a legal person. Concomitantly, to use the word "criminal" leaps OTT and it may in itself suggest a criminal mindset or sub-cultural pursuits.

Every US citizen/national is obligated to respect the fact of law and constitutionalism. This is true despite the pseudo Freudian angst of the Austrian school and its hard core militant right doomsday subscribers out there on the margin of contemporary American/Western society, culture, civilisation.

Every immigrant regardless of documentation status is a legal person. This is true in civil law because it is a basic tenet and principle of liberal democracy and a civilized society. The lessons of 1914-1945 mandate that we pursue the rule of law in stark contrast to the rule of ideology by its bent ideologues of ethnicity, race, genetics.

To target or label undocumented immigrants that are Constitutionally protected, as instead being "illegals" or "criminals" constitutes an agenda of vilification, exclusion, punishment.

Civil law provides penalties, such as deportation, rather than punishments such as incarceration or execution. Beyond this, criminal laws apply to everyone regardless and equally. Accordingly, it is OTT to try to transmogrify the largely normal and routinely historical matter of immigration or immigrants into an incendiary one.

I refuse to allow anyone to change the real meaning of words - and let it go unchallenged.. Illegal aliens in America are Illegal. And as an American I have the Freedom to Speak the Truth of the matter ... Illegals take jobs, gut wages, steal identities, take unearned welfare, and are heavily saturated with people of a criminal element The headlines are filled in America over 15 years with the crimes committed by Illegal Aliens. There is no Political Correct language change that can change those news stories ... Anyone can google it ... rapes, murders, robberies, beatings, even an illegal alien serial killer... Illegal Aliens deported 3-4 times and return to commit crimes. All the stories are there for anyone to read.

The real people who should be upset about criminal aliens are the illegal aliens themselves -- because like all peoples - there is a criminal element. It is just that especially when dealing with illegal migrants from Mexico there is a heavy criminal element mixed in the the basically good people... But even these basically good people break U.S. Law by entering the United States Illegally ...

Political Correctness will never prevail for it is nothing but Societal Censorship and I for one cast off attempts at Censorship... Just as Donald Trump has and the rest of America should.

Living a lie - such as living the lie that Sanctuary Cities are harmless is a prime example of why Lib-Lefty-Prog policies do not work and it is what Donald Trump is shouting about ...

So are the people who defend Trump or who can think the bile Trump spews is constructive or represents mainstream America or the great majority of Americans.

Trump belongs in the WWF or the Republican party and he chose the Republican party whose nomination for president is his grand prize. The far right ideologues who direct the Republican party are pleased they they are in control over the old-line eastern USA party establishment, which long ago lost control over the R party.

Most people know Trump hasn't a prayer of either the R party nomination or of being elected POTUS, but Trump is trumpeting to America and the world why the Republican party is submerging below the electoral surface and why its bow is right angled straight downward to the deep six.

GOP Chair To Donald Trump: You're Embarrassing The Republican Party!

2015_07_dtrumpd.jpg

Donald Trump's resting face (Getty Images)

The head of the Republican National Committee, responding to demands from increasingly worried party leaders, spent nearly an hour Wednesday on the phone with Donald Trump, urging the presidential candidate to tone down his inflammatory comments about immigration that have infuriated a key election constituency.

Priebus’s decision to reach out to Trump came after days of talks with Republican donors and officials about how best to manage Trump’s outsize presence on the airwaves. Many financiers who are influential at the RNC have been fuming about Trump’s ascent.

Totally false reporting on my call with @Reince Priebus. He called me, ten minutes, said I hit a “nerve", doing well, end!

Unless two or more stipulate what data would be agreeable to make or refute a point regarding this issue it is moot (this reality appears to form the foundation of Federal obfuscation- see below). However, general data which would be accessed to determine, say, the crime/prison/etc rate of.. a black population, or South Carolinians, or a White or Asian population should also suffice to elaborate the criminal illegal alien population. It should not be otherwise. For example, lets say we considered demographic criminal/incarceration data for Nassau County, New York. We could organize the data by race, by residence, perhaps by religion but doubtful, by residential/economic background data, etc. Likewise, it is fair to also consider another constituent in the data and it to remain substantially valid still. So, in a notional breakdown, if whites committed 40% of crimes, and blacks 40% of crimes, and illegal aliens 19% of crimes, and other 1% of crimes we have data set that remains valid. There is no ambiguity about such facts. However, one thing is remarkable is that one entire category is, by virtual of presence alone, ipso facto guilty of a federal crime- criminally entering the US, in addition to whatever other crimes they commit. That this fundamental data can be assaulted is ludicrous.

Thus to offer a question such as what is the crime rate of the illegal immigrant [sic] as compared to the legal one? is a false question, it cannot be answered unless by accepting the premise, which is faulty? The question can only be asked in context of what is the crime rate of an illegal alien in relation to legally residence persons- period! Not legal immigrants. Narrowing a question to legal immigrants both insults the legal immigrants as if they had relational context to de facto crime (illegal entry and/or presence) and also excludes all the other legal statuses of people in America, including citizens. Thus, "what is the crime rate of illegal aliens?" suffices.

With regard to the notional example above illegals should not be here at all. A 1% crime/prison rate is exceptional. However, in the above example I intentionally skewed all the numbers. The numbers for illegals in the US is profoundly higher. Some estimates place the number in several hundreds of thousands but conservative numbers estimate 160,000. When one looks at the percentages of crimes in various areas in relation to those of legal status the numbers are simply alarming, epidemic. One can disassemble all day long but this is an entire population of crimminals before they even break another law. They should not here at all! Period. What is worse is the numerous tens of thousands who are known to have entered illegally, known to have illegal presence, and are nevertheless released still back into general population.

"The Immigration Offenders in the Federal Justice System, 2010 report showed that there was an average of six offenses per defendant appearing in Federal District Court..." 2010

"...illegal aliens were responsible for the equivalent of a low of 13.178% to a high of 14.327% of the total crimes..." 2005-2008

"...the ACS reported figures on the number of illegal immigrants present of just over 11,000,000 has a margin of error of only about plus or minus 150,000, or just over one percent with a ninety percent confidence level." 2005-2008

"No direct reporting of the number of crimes committed by illegal immigrants exists on a national level..." as per the link below. As the following link from Brietbart explains, the US government steadfastly refuses to allow data to be assembled in a manner that will make simple calculations possible. Americans are increasingly aware of this and it is clear that illegal immigration is being foisted on to Americans. This preceding comment from a 2005-2008 thesis notes the same intransigence of the Federal Government to present simple facts. This obfuscation continues in 2015.

The 700 miles of currently constructed border wall has been built at between $6.8 million per mile to as much as $16.6 million per mile. So far $1.6 billion has been appropriated by congress for the wall project.

The tunnel was pumped full of concrete after discovery.

Migrant trail in Arizona (Photo by Jessica Piekielek)

waste of money building a low fence like that. The Israelis have a decent wall, but even that has tunnels under it.

The real way to stop illegals is to arrest them and 10 year jail as a deterrent However no one really cares- just rip off taxpayer building nothing much.

yeah, 10 years in jail for all those border runners shouldnt cost much!! lol

No it won't. Once the word gets out there won't be any illegal immigrants across the border. A few suffer to disuade the majority. That's why the boats don't go to Australia any more- they don't get to enter Oz.

Of course the poll was for republicans... Why would Dems pick a GOP candidate in a poll?

It doesn't matter if he won by 1% or 40%, he won the poll...

You partisan folks are so funny, having to get your digs in at every chance... IMO, the country is screwed no matter who gets elected in '16 because both parties serve the same masters... All one has to do is review the GOP rhetoric prior to the '14 mid-terms or Obama during the '08 elections and compare that to their actions once in office.... The game is divide and conquer, pitting the populace against one another while the people pulling the strings profits regardless of an elections outcome... When will you wake up and realize this?

Prior to primaries, it is not uncommon for opposing political parties to skew polls in such a way as to manipulate public perception of the candidates in a primary- the objective of course having nothing to do with the opposition primary, only who is offered as a frontrunner. This is not uncommon at all.

The post is loosely worded and the only reference to a political party is to the Democratic party. Further, the post wishes for a debate between Trump and any of the Dem candidates.

Given the assorted and motley platoon of anti-Americans on the loose, and others of innocence who might read with a casual or limited knowledge of American political parties, elections, politics, the post can be considered to be an invitation to misunderstanding, misinterpretation; confusion. I certainly have already seen it at the thread(s) in these very respects.

We need The Donald to stay in the race over the next 12 months especially so voters across the country will vote for Democrats in record numbers in the election next year.

Amazing. Donald Trump is having to switch venues in Phoenix, Arizona for his rally this Saturday because he is getting overwhelming responses for people wanting to attend. His campaign says they are now expecting thousands to attend and are switching to the Phoenix Convention Center to accommodate the masses:

How small minded and narrow a perspective can a person be inflicted with. How bent can a person on the right be.

Trump has 15% in the pre-screened Economist YouGov poll which is not the standard poll and method but it is what it is, and that's 15% of Republican party whack jobs in a whack job party.

Any experienced political pro will advise that it's not the crowds a candidate gets, which of course includes Bernie Sanders et al, that the size of crowds almost never ever mean anything relative to election day, nor do the size of crowds indicate how the great majority of the voters do vote.

Anyone who might think or believe this rally in Phoenix or any rally like this anywhere for any candidate is indicative of the general election outcome, or, in this case the R party nomination for prez, knows absolutely nothing about political campaigns or political campaigning or elections, voters etc.

Trump will never gain the R party nomination and will never see the White House except as an exotic decoration due to the thing on his empty head. Trump and any crowds he gets is a Barnum and Bailey sideshow to the larger election campaign in this election.

Every candidate has supporters who show up and blow whistles so Trump is no different. This too shall pass but only after a great cost to the Republican party, which is just fine by me. Keep up the good work defending and promoting this circus barker of right wing teabagger bread and circuses.

If Trump weren't already wealthy I'd send him a check to keep him going. laugh.png

Immigration has always been a matter of civil law because immigrants are trying to make a new life in America, not a mafia. Civil law involves penalties, not punishments.

The right is however dominated by white Anglo-Saxon Protestant old men who are obsessing against principles established in the Constitution and that in fact well precede the Constitution. Obsessing suddenly and in recent times.

Criminal law applies to every person in the United States and it involves punishment. Deportation is a penalty and incarceration is a punishment. It's pretty basic Americanism. So this means the extremists on the far out right wing aren't going to change much regardless of how determined, relentless, fanatical they are in their willful negativism. .

And this means what? Nugent was a pretty good rocker back in the day, not a great one. Now he's just a right-wing nutter that no one takes seriously (well, maybe except other right-wing nutters). Didn't Nugent promise to leave the US if President Obama was reelected?
