Mr. Somchai: roof leakage in Suvarnabhumi airport will not affect its official opening

Suvarnabhumi Airport Director Somchai Sawasdeepon (สมชัย สวัสดีผล) has insisted that the leakage on the roof of the airport's terminal building will not disrupt its official opening as the leakage is not situated in the important location.

Mr. Somchai said the staffs are currently plugging the leakage by filling the joint of the glasses on the roof. He indicated that such leakage is normal when there is heavy precipitation.

He said it will have no impact on the official opening of Suvarnabhumi Airport, which falls on the 28th of September.

You couldn't make this stuff up, could you?

The new airport will never have a power failure

The next week somebody trips the wrong breaker and puts the lights out for 30 minutes.

The new airport will never flood

Now we discover the roof is leaking.

Not enough chairs to sit on in the departure area.

Not enough urinals in in the depature area.

Bagage system can't print baggage tags. Bags are not delivered to the correct place.

Wonder where it will all end? What comes next?

:o
