Disney removes Bill Cosby statue at Hollywood Studios

LAKE BUENA VISTA, Fla. (AP) — Walt Disney World officials say a bronze statue of Bill Cosby is being removed from the Hollywood Studios theme park.

A Disney spokeswoman confirmed Wednesday that the statue was removed after the park closed Tuesday night. She would not allow her name be used but would not say why and offered no other comment.

The removal of the statute at Disney's Academy of Television Arts and Sciences Hall of Fame Plaza came after court documents unsealed on Monday revealed that Cosby testified in 2005 that he'd obtained Quaaludes with the intent of giving them to women he wanted to have sex with.

The 77-year-old Cosby hasn't commented on the documents, which were secret for a decade until Monday, after The Associated Press went to court to get them released. He has never been charged with a crime and has repeatedly denied sexual assault allegations.

Hmmmmm, now why would they do that? Oh wait, isn't he that RAPIST guy?

I hope Kirk Douglas doesn't have a statue somewhere in Hollywood. If so, his is going to have to come down, too.

Sweet. Correct. It is about time to start dismantling this mans reputation, and allowing him to descend back down to earth, and live with the rest of us. Now that the news is out that he admitting giving some of these women drugs, we know he crossed the line. Whether or not he gets convicted of rape. He is a scoundrel, and the worst part is that with his fame, money, and power he did not need to take advantage of women who might have been on the fence. He had way too many offering themselves to him, so my guess is he is simply pathological. Typically, when one or two women come out, it is questionable. But 30 or more?

It's 1983, the Playboy mansion, a party with half of Hollywood and every wanna-be hanger-oner are drinking by the gallon, snorting, popping, you name it! Traci Lords is flashing her California Driver license that says she is 18, she's 15. Could it only be Dr. Huxtable that was being naughty? Somehow I doubt it. Some crazy S%it was going down back then!!

I'm sure I saw him last night pissing into a bucket in full view of passers-by at the side of the road in Sukhumvit 13 between the ghetto street bar and the 7-11. Actually I'm sure I see him there every night usually with one of his brothers waiting in the queue to expose himself also.

Why's that then?

The TL;DR version of the story

I bet Walt Disney himself had a few skeletons in the closet ... whistling.gif
