23 bar & gallery presents Bangkok Day, a street photo exhibition by Anthony Cheung.

Bangkok, it's hot, smelly, a little intense and I love it. It constantly surprises, challenges, amuses and gives. In a place where so many live, I often feel like I've been absorbed into it. When this happens, I breathe, slow things down, stop, look and see the personality and the subtleties of this pulsing city. It provides space to be curious about the narratives threading through the city and marks people collectively leave.

This exhibition is a collection of moments of what Bangkok is to me. I imagine what the situations are that led to these photos and what may happen after. I invite you to do the same.

Exhibition: 15th Aug – 6 Sep 2015
Opening night 15th Aug 19:00
