Dose anyone have any experience with Passion Box? The name leaves something to be desired considering TIT. Some of the meat and pie prices are OK. Anybody actually used this company?

Hi akentryan

RabC is correct, our PassionBox nationwide delivery service is a part of PassionDelivery.com.

We launched it nationwide as many people who live outside of Bangkok e.g. Chiang Rai, Phuket, Surin, Hua Hin etc asked if we could deliver to them. Even though we only launched it less than 2 weeks ago it is proving to be a popular service.

I'd very much like you to try our PassionBox service and am happy to offer you either a FREE premium dry aged ribeye steak OR a pack of Thai style marinated pork with your first PassionBox order.

I live in the sticks in Nakhon Sawan Province. When I was at Makro last month I bought a package of four Australian rib-eye steaks. I tried to cook one and it was garbage, no marbling, full of water and tough as shoe leather. I ground up the other three but the mince tasted like crap so I gave it to the dogs.

So I gave Passion Delivery a try. I ordered 14 items that came from 7 different stores: 2 tomahawk steaks. 2 whole flounder,3 packs of English crumpets, a fisherman's pie, two cottage pies, blue cheese, 2 hamburgers, 1 lamb short loin saddle, 2 rib-eyes,smoked ham, Cumberland sausage, pork and leek sausage, and chorizo. I placed the order on Saturday and paid via bank transfer on Tuesday. The order was shipped Wednesday afternoon and I intercepted the package at the couriers' station in Chainat and everything was in my freezer by 0800. So far I have tried the cheese, the crumpets, the ham and I just finished half of the tomahawk. It was absolutely delicious and I could cut it with a fork - pictures attached.

I will definitely use there services in the future and stop trying to find anything edible in the local markets. There service was great.

Garbage beef, often makes a delicious excellent beef soup, but of course our dog loved it as well, as more rubber like as better.....

Hi. We probably won't be adding scrapple to our product list anytime soon, I didn't actually know what it was until I looked it up online!

But the good news is that we have just added lamb shanks and beef ribs to our PassionBox selection... photos attached ....

I'm sorry to say this mirrors perfectly my experience with 4 rib eyes I bought last time at BigC, and earlier occasions. My most recent ones were two Australian and two from NZ.

So far I've found Rimpling in Chaing Mai to have the most reliable meat for sale. Unfortunately, the Rimpling markets are not near me and the chain doesn't indicate any expansion plans

I haven't tried Passion Box but read this thread with interest.
