Jatuporn says draft charter designed to allow govt to stay in power

It's been about a week now regarding the draft charter provisions for the National Strategic Reform and Reconciliation Committee and we've heard from many of the top PTP leadership and academics criticizing it.

But the silence from the Democrat leadership is deafening.

In his defense of the Interim Charter Article 44 Abhisit expressed support that the military Junta retaining special power to intervene in the event of "chaos" is acceptable. But this time he may be more cautious about on how to spin powers of the NSRRC to override an elected government until he has assurances he wouldn't be the one being overriden.

Big yawn.

Wow! That's such a politically astute post. Succinct and to the point.

BTW, what did you mean by it??

More big yawn.

Do you realise that you and Rube are intellectual giants- lol

LMAO! Stop - you're killing me ginjag!

BTW, who is Rube?

our intellectual giant--Rubi. TVF member one of the majority on this TVF

I agree with Jatuporn on this matter. The new Pm is getting the new police chief her wants and just happens to be one of his longest friend to control the police. The he want his brother to be the commander of the Army. No sight for Democracy as long as he is in power. I see that he really want to be a Dictator and will fight Democracy as long as he can and use as many reasons for hin to be the not elected PM. No brainer!

The Elite know their 'Democrat' puppets can never win an election, so they will try to give themselves enough reserve powers in this new constitution to ensure they can overturn any policy of an elected government that they don't like. This after they already tried to achieve that in the 2007 constitution.

A few questions if I may.

- who are 'The Elite' ?

- who are the 'democrat' puppets?

- what in the 2007 constitution points to 'achieving' a similar result in possibly in the new draft charter?

1/ you know the answer but 'pretend' there is no amaart or hierarchy

2/ you know who they are but 'pretend' that the Dems are not intrinsically linked to 1/ above

3/ you know the 2007 constitution was 'Hobson's Choice' and no real choice at all (as will be this 'new' Charter)

In other words, no answer. Thank you.

Jatuporn knows all, sees all , is told all, understands and interpretates all that is said, proposed and suggested. The man should be confined to a forest temple so far removed from the general population that a shit seeking missle would be the only way to find him
