NET X ISP?

Anyone know anything or better have any experience with this ISP?

A woman in the lobby of my condo (BKK, Asoke area) was handing out brochures to advertise an ISP named NET X. This ISP is offering 18/1 Mbps service for 450 Baht/month. A 36/6 Mbps package is advertised for 999Baht/month. Aparently, their packages do not require an 1 year contract. The brochure clains that NET X has been in business for 20 years.

I'm resonably happy with my service from TRUE. The prices offered by NET X are signiificantly better than what I'm currently paying (for a lesser pakage) so I'm interested. But, I've never heard of the company.

So, what is the collective wisdom about this alternative?

Probably a small company. If no contracts, why don't you try it and share it your experiences with us?

Since most of us don't live in Asoke area, we have no way of testing it.

Stumbled upon one such company a couple of months ago reselling 3bb's internet at 590 for 30/1. But they didn't cover my village which is just 8 km away.

I attached a copy of the front of the brochure. Don't believe its the TOT X Code. The price is certainly right but I need to do some more due diligence...

Cs loxinfo is one of the oldest providers from the dialup days.

Not seen that name in ages.

Not sure offhand if they have been under a different name since broadband or not, 3bb is owned by the older provider previously called jasmine.

Yeah i thought exactly the same. Though they did provide me with my first (256/128) ADSL connection. Pretty good at the time.

Nowadays they are the leading (only?) ISP in North Korea. How's that for a laugh?
