Did you try Amorn Electronics in the basement of Tuk Com?

The electronics store on Thepprasit may have it, if Amorn doesn't.

It's located here

If not, you may have to order it online or buy it in Bangkok.

Those two are the only electronic stores here in Pattaya.

It's not a popular product that's easy to find in Pattaya.

Not many Canadians/Americans are foolish enough to bring a TV from North America to Pattaya.

It's better to have left it behind and buy a TV in Thailand!

Good luck!

Although NTSC has a common standard for audio and video, there's different flavors of PAL and if I recall, the sound carrier on PAL as streamed in Thailand is different from the PAL system in the UK. You may get one of these converters and get the picture on your NTSC television but no sound.

PAL, NTSC

I doubt that the young generation has ever heard about these historic standards biggrin.png

Lazada offers it as a "product shipped from abroad"?:

Fancy expensive thing at some Thai (online) shop:

-Analog converters can only work with only one Pal or NTSC standard and there is over 14 Pal formats and 2 NTSC formats. Also, analog converter will require a TV to have a vertical hold function, where most TVs no longer have it. Analog converters in most of the cases will not convert Frequency 50/60Hz and therefore will not work with many TVs.
