THAI informs the opening of Suvarnabhumi airport to Korean citizens

General Manager of Thai Airways International, Korean Branch Mr. Sutsawet Sawetsophon(สุดเศวต เศวตโสภณ) stated that he has created understanding with Korean citizens over the opening of Suvarnabhumi Airport.

Mr. Sutsawet disclosed that Korean people have been informed about the opening of new airport on the 28th of September and they would have to switch from Don Muang airport to the new airport from 03.00 hrs of 28th September onwards.

In response to the recent report about warnings issued by the Korean government to its people not to travel to Thailand, Mr. Sutsawet said THAI has informed and created good understanding with Korean tourism authority in order to maintain numbers of flight reservations.

Mr. Sutsawet added that Incheon airport in Korea has been rated one of the top three airport in Asia but he believes Suvarnabhumi airport will overcome competitors soon.
