Silence was the loud reply.

The fact that no-one answered now explains why the Thai 'mechanic' told me that the only way to fit the collets on the valve is to put them nearly in place and then use a piece of pipe and a hammer to hit the top of the spring and they should fall into place.

If I have to buy one from UK it will be worth the wait.

Found the coil spring spring comps' by the way. 'Dont need' said garage, just tie up with strong rope and undo the bottom wishbone mounts. !!!!!!!

I have a valve spring compressor BUT I live in Pakkret ...I could loan it to you but you would need to collect and return it ... it is a very good one ...brought it with me from the UK...PM me if you want
