Hi I read all this stuff happening at the land borders. I honestly don't wanna go get a tourist visa as 2 months extra for me will do the job. My question is will I get stopped if I fly out of thailand to hong kong spend 2 days there and then come back and get 30 days at don mueang? I came back from sofia on a 30 days same and I mostly leave thailand after 2 months to go work then back when I am done working. I got no previous thai visas in my passport or cambodian, laotian one. Thanks for your answers :)

If you are on visa exempt entry now you can apply for a 30 day extension at immigration unless you have already goy one for your current entry.

You should not have a problem getting another exempt entry by doing it by air and spending a couple of days out of the country.

I already did it. But I just don't wanna spend queues getting a tourist visa. I don't work here, I work outside of thailand and make a good living. I am just here to train brazilian jiu jitsu and enjoy my free days. I hope you are right. Got a friend in Hong Kong I will pay him a visit I guess.

If you flew to Penang to get a tourist visa there would be no lines to get the visa. You just give your passport, application form and money to an agent and they do it all for you.

No problem to fly out an back on the same day. If you have had several visa exempt entries you may be questioned about them on entry.
