2.85g, with a street value of around 150 baht.... is this newsworthy?

Has to point to it otherwise might not see it as it's so small

Objectively, yes, subjectively, possibly no.

Crime of the century! meanwhile in the real world?

Post of the century.

Last week it was a Scot with 1.2 grams of the evil weed. This time almost 3 whole grams. Good to see the RTP are upping the game and going after the really big fish!

why do they say they searched him cos he looked nervous? they searched him because the dealer who sells weed for them decided there was more money to be made by ratting him in. Ive been offered the job myself.

It's a nice place to live, but the administration of this country couldn't be more of a joke if all Thai officials wore clown suits... How they can look in the mirror and take themselves seriously I have no idea. Laughing stock of the world.

Back in Kuwait......even such a small quantity...he'd be in serious trouble...... probably not lose his head, but certainly time in the Hilton!!.......

Kuwaiti...that makes sense. Arrest him and then negotiate and everybody wins, there is no shame for RTP. instead of really arresting the criminals they are engaged in arresting petty offenders.

I'm waiting for the crusty old man crew to demand his hanging . Haha, daily scam by the bib there.

Wouldn't he get lashed with a whip for this in his home country ?

Pathetic.Peace must not prevail.Carnage and ruination of families fuelled by excessive alcohol is surely the better solution.

With that Large amount of Weed me think the guy was set up by the biggest scammers in Thailand go figure TIT

"Laughing stock of the world." The world is not limited to ThaiVisa even thought it is for some members tongue.png

With all the RTP shakedowns of foreigners, who wouldn't be nervous when RTP pass by?

Legally, the RTP had no probable cause to search the Kuwaiti. Certainly standing in a public area outside a club is not suspicious.

he should be out by now with a 10000 or 20000b payment, at least in most of the cases involving amounts like this thats what happens

Obviously a drug king pin. All of that found on him, no question

Wouldn't he get lashed with a whip for this in his home country ?

Probably he would be followed by a long prison sentence

barely enough to roll a decent joint (not that I use that stuff). Back in 80's in Koh Samui could put your MJ on tab with your hut etc. Dang airport ruined everything

I guess this poor sap didn't have diplomatic immunity.

Should have just eaten it quickly instead of pointing at it.

Are they going to do a photo op standing next to the goods captured in this huge bust?
