Does anyone have a problem with TOT Fiber?

Featured Replies

I have 30mb TOT fiber and it's basically disappointment. And it acts strange.

According to speedtest i have 1-2mb international speed to EU(i guess heavy throttling),but speedtest in thailand shows stable 30mb.But then i get about 3mb/sec download speed when i download something from torrent, which is excellent speed. And then again i have ping problems in games, one day stays at 40-50 the other day it's 200+ping(servers in SG,Malaysia,Hongkong).I'm so confused and i don't get it,why for example i can get excellent speed to torrent but lousy ping(sometimes) and lousy speed when i,for example, watching twitch.tv

@thaichalina, the download speed of a torrrent file via p2p is very much dependent on the seeders locations and speed. If some seeders are in Thailand it could be that fast, but when only eu or USA seeders , you might get quiet different speeds.

I am not so lucky to living somewhere close to any vibre cable, but my ADSL line, is today very slow with internat. lines. erratic as well, even audio is not streaming fluently on a 9MB contract with TOT ???? Before even youtube was 99% of the time streaming normal :(

Dreadful today, as it was on Sunday, I'm having to connect to a Singapore VPN to do anything.

Our condo has 7 or 8 Fiber lines coming in. They started going out last Thursday and by today

they are nearly useless. Those with a VPN seem to be doing better than those without.

I'm getting awful international speeds on TOT fibre too, only 1Mb to HK on Testmy.net

Testmy.net is now giving a more sensible 23.7Mb :)

Let's see if it lasts.
