Some bar/restaurant owners might know this one.

I am looking for info about obtaining imported liqueurs (Amaretto, Kahlua, etc.) in Thailand from a wholesale distributor in Thailand.

What is the situation with this?

What are the cost and tax factors?

Are imported liqueurs taxed at an incredible rate?

What I really want to know, besides sources, are price comparisons. For example, a wholesale bottle of Kahlua would cost x in the US or Europe, and x in Thailand.

Are liqueurs taxed at the same rate as liquor (such a whisky)? If they are, kind of unfair, because liqueurs are more of a dessert.

Interesting if anyone knows this one!

To keep this interesting, I will say I have a very over the top business idea that involves using lots of liqueurs, and I won't say more than that. However, if the tasty sauce is going to be too expensive, the business idea is dead.
