Language Teachers: Thai, Northern Thai And English:

Recommended Posts

Family, work and several other excuses that I can come up with keep stopping me from signing up for language courses so I've decided to try a different route!

I have a reasonable but basic grounding in Thai and Northern Thai and my wife speaks good English but we both want to improve and I would really like to know if anyone here can recommend any teachers (freelance or connected to schools) who offer one to one tuition probably at our home but possibly at another location if conveniently situated.

One or two hours per week for each language seems like a good start but, again, I am hoping that good tutors would be able to help with a timetable. I am hoping to create a long-term arrangement.

Also, ideally, I would like to aim a the Pratom 6 examination so it would be preferable if the Thai teacher has experience in preparing students for that too.

Names, contact details and an indication of rates would be really appreciated,

Thanks in advance,

About 3 weeks ago my wife and I were looking for the same thing. We literally called about 20 private schools and individuals who were recommended to us. Finally, we found someone who was available for part of the time we wanted. I'll ask our current tutor if she has any time available and I'll pm you if she does. Good luck.
