I remember getting in an argument with someone (forgot who exactly) who said that the moat isn't deep. And this is right off the edge:

You might know of "Pop motorbike rental" which is about 500m north of this spot. Last year saw one of their latest clients exit the roadside shop.

Quite spectacular, as they forgot the important turning manoeuvre and promptly ended up in the middle of the street, perpendicular to oncoming traffic,

looking rather surprised.

Luckily they did remember to brake so they didn't reach the moat. They then spent a couple of minutes in the middle of the street (all traffic had to stop)

trying to recall the all important pre rental driving instruction.
