BANGKOK: -- Full Metal Dojo will be serving up a Halloween special on October 31st. To celebrate the spookiest night of the year Thailand’s biggest mixed martial arts (MMA) promotion is putting together a ten fight card at the Insanity Nightclub.

The event will feature fighters from Korea, Iran, Russia, Lebanon, Egypt, Cambodia, the Czech Republic, England, the US and the Philippines as well as, of course, Thailand. It will be the second FMD show in a row to be held in the nightclub which is situated on Sukhumvit, midway between Asoke and Nana.

In the headline fight undefeated Thai strawweight Pongsiri Mitsatit will be looking to improve on his 5-0 record when he faces fellow Thai Wisava Kaweewarakorn. The co-main event sees Iranian Amir Aliakbari make his pro debut against Korea’s Hyung Chul-Lee.

Aliakbari is a former wrestling world champion who has been tipped as a future UFC star. Both men tip the scales at a massive 265 lbs making this, quite literally, the biggest MMA fight to ever take place in Thailand.

FMD was founded in 2014 by long term expat Jon Nutt. The promotion has put on six cards to date with another event booked for Phuket on December 12th. For more information visit: www.fullmetaldojo.com.
