As stated in other threads: more looks like a local problem.

Maybe just "too successful" and selling more than they can handle at the site,

3BB customers in other provinces without problems.

I am in upcountry, ToT, no such problems.

Especially as most if not all content of youtube/Google, Facebook and Microsoft are coming from Singapore or Hong Kong (maybe even mirrored in Thailand).

Not comparable with bottlenecks to Europe or USA.

In this current running thread you find a lot of complaint about 3BB in Pattaya.

Hum... You will find a lot of complaints about other providers too! wink.png

Any providers can have - at some time and in some areas only - a few temporary problems.

I am in Pattaya and well happy with my 3BB 15Mbts smile.png

To the OP: 3 weeks it's way too long. You should call them: 1530

I have the 10mb 3bb and my service is fine. I always get over 10mb/s if i use speedtest.net but much less if i use TestMy.net (although just got 8.9 mb/s)

I suggest you have a look at your routers system log.

Your connection might seem fine to you because you maybe only use it periodically, but in your system log you will notice that it loses connection very frequently especially in the mornings.

I'm with BTV, which is a CAT reseller, and have the same issues as many on this forum for the past 3 weeks.

In the morning my system log will build 10 pages or more in about 2 hours time, in the afternoon it is usually better, but between 3.30 and 5 0'clock the problem will appear again.

I have just done a few continuous ping tests to the gateway IP, and on average I have a 10% package loss.

My speed is fine, but the problem I have been getting recently is that a few times a day 3BB takes over my browser and insists that I click save on my login details. It takes a few times for it to accept them, which never change, and is blooning annoying.

These speedtests are pointless. How often do you open websites from Bangkok? What matters is the speed to US and Europe servers. I really wonder how do working intl. companies with that bad internet.

When you look at my post just above you will notice that the international speed isn't the problem, but that the connection to the gateway gets interrupted.

Wasn't there recently something in the news about gateways, which caused a lot of protests, and that they would not implement it?

I wonder then why their is so much disconneting.

Ping statistics for 119.42.120.1:

Packets: Sent = 430, Received = 386, Lost = 44 (10% loss),

Approximate round trip times in milli-seconds:

Minimum = 7ms, Maximum = 164ms, Average = 17ms

I'm happy to report that my 3BB gone from slow to a much better speed the last 6 months and I only pay for the cheapest package. Stream quality is almost perfect to Uk and Scandinavia

What speed do you get when you test with a server in USA or EU?

Very often. Try google.com wink.png (local mirror)

Again not true. Many mirrors. YouTube by example.

Just that the connexion is not has bad as you want to say.

I work using a VPN in France. I often transfer at full speed of my 15/1 Mbts line (or at least 95%+ wink.png)
